In its 24th Cologne Solar Colloquium the DLR Institute of Solar Research will focus on solar process heat for the energy transition from low temperature to high temperature applications. Speakers from research and industry partners will present current usage and future perspectives and will report on their experiences with existing systems. In the context of high temperature solar process heat applications, solar materials processing and synthetic fuels production, the recently founded DLR Institute of Future Fuels will present itself.
The Cologne Solar Colloquium is the largest conference on solar thermal power plant technologies in the German-speaking area. For the first time, the conference will be held in English and the organisers expressly invite international interested parties to join.
Registration possible as of 17 May until 9 June. Participation is free of charge.
